What's in store for 2025?

This year's trend report anticipates even more women buyers, etc. Read more here.

Seasonality is in full swing with decreased deal activity and lower supply. We have a total of just under 5,500 units for sale on the market. While this number is higher than where the market was last year Dec., it is still low as we are in the winter season.

These numbers are not expected to pick up again until late January, early February and really go full-steam ahead in early March.

Interest rates are currently at 7.04% according to Freddie Mac's US weekly avg. on a 30-year fixed. Read more here.

Year-End Look Back:

New Dev activity grew by 2% in the year 2024, resulting in higher prices and increased contract volume. 

2,956 contracts were signed in 2024, 2% higher than last year. 

Median asking prices were $1.75M with 11,201 units of total inventory. 

New This Year: 

The Mona in Astoria and 1 Park Row in Fulton Seaport recently launched sales this month.
